Only the best fruit for ShuVin wines! It’s that time in the vintage, where we select on the best clusters on the vines to eventually make it into the bottle. Controlling the yield forces each vine to put all its energy into the remaining clusters, ensuring the highest quality fruit. This year we kept the best 24 clusters on each vine, shooting for a yield of about 2.5 tons per acre. In this video, you see the fruit in Block B, our 777 clone of Pinot Noir.
